Happy Halloween
Today we woke up and had pumpkin shaped banana pancakes. In the afternoon we went to the firestation and visted Daddy at work since the boys were wearing their costumes. We then came home and went trick or treating with the neighborhood. Parker had a rough time at the first few houses. As soon as they gave him candy he wanted to eat it right there in their driveway. It didn't take him long to get the hang of it!! He was so excited to run up to the door and then he would say while knocking "TIC A TEAT" and then he said "thank you" so quietly. We went around our cul-de-sac and then came back home and passed out candy. Which once again Parker absolutely loved! Oh the look on his face when the doorbell would ring!! He would get this super serious face and would run to the candy bowl and pick out candy to give out. I would open the door and he would just stare at all of the kids as he handed the candy to each child. He was a bit timid but as soon as we would close the door he would laugh and say "silly guy." I then gave the boys an orange bath and called it a night and now they are all tucked in their beds.

Halloween Festivities
Yesterday was October 28 and we celebrated all of the typical Halloween festivities. It was such a fun, fun day. It started off with MOPS in the morning and we had a great speaker. Both of the boys stayed in their classes and enjoyed themselves. When I picked up Parker he told me "Mommy that fun" and he participated in all of the activities and was playing with a little girl on the slide when I arrived. Then we went and picked up Tyler and he was sound asleep on one of the nursery workers. He looked so peaceful! We came home and Daddy met us here after working a 72. Shortly after that we layed Parker down for a nap. When he woke up we took the boys and got Halloween costume pictures taken at the mall. They turned out amazing! I think they are my new favorites. Then we came home and played out on the swingset with the kids and ran around with them in the yard. I can still hear Parker giggling, he loved chasing Mommy. I made chili and cornbread for dinner and we got ready to carve pumpkins. Parker was so excited and Tyler was so exhausted we just took a few pictures of him with his pumpkin and put him to bed. Then Eric and Lindsay came over and we all carved our pumpkins. They turned out great!! Parker absolutely loved pulling all of the seeds out. We made cookies and roasted our pumpkin seeds, which were so delicious. After taking a million pictures with all of the pumpkins we got a bon fire going and sat out by they fire until 11:30. Parker went down about 9:30. Everything about today was just FUN!!!!

It's Fall
Hooray it is Fall! I wished the weather was a little cooler but we are really enjoying all of the fun things to do that come with this time of year. We have had a fall party with our MOPS table at our home. We have visited a few pumpkin patches and been to Oak Glen twice already! Parker just loves all of the fall decorations and having pumpkins all over the house. Tyler tries to roll the pumkins around and stand up on them. He also enjoys putting the stems in his mouth! Also, this past weekend we purchased a swingset for the boys and they love it!!! It is their early Christmas gift from us.

5.8 Earthquke
The boys and I have been at home all morning playing with their toys and playing with Colt (Douglas' Dog) I layed the kids down for a nap and just as the house got quiet we had a huge earthquake 5.8. Niether our home or cell phones worked!! I felt trapped! I really want to get an emergency kit together.

Happy Fathers Day Daddy
Well we finally got this blogging site up and running! Today is Fathers Day and we are having a relaxing day around the house. We have been cooking, swimming, playing WII and running around the house with the boys. Ryan's back is bothering him again...so hopefully he will be feeling better!
